To-Be-Read | February 2021

I know it’s a little late, but I needed to get my TBR list for this month under control in my own mind and figured I might as well post it.

I may have overcommitted this month. There are just so many exciting things going on.

First of all, it’s February, which means both Black History Month and Valentine’s Day. Not to lump those two in the same category, other than time of year!

For Black History Month, I want to read and/or feature a few books by Black authors. I originally was hoping for one per week, but like I said, I overcommitted. Here’s what I’m hoping to get to this month in this category:

Given Valentine’s day is next weekend, I feel like I have to check off a few rom-coms this month! The more I think about it, though, the more likely I am to abandon this category. On my rom-com TBR:

On Monday, I’ll be hosting my first ever stop on a blog tour. The novel is Orca by Mariette Whitcomb, and I am very excited to share my thoughts with you! This was on my February TBR, but luckily I finished it the other night.

I joined a challenge on Instagram for increasing my NetGalley ratio. This isn’t just a personal challenge, I’m actually on a team so I can’t let these people down!! Here’s what’s on my NetGalley shelf (no way I’m getting to all of these):

I have ARCs up the wazoo (both ebook and physical) that come out this month, and I always try my best to get my reviews posted by the pub date. I posted a more in-depth list of February releases here, but here’s what I have left to finish before their pub dates:

I also agreed to do a buddy read of Anxious People with a friend of mine next week. Hopefully I can push that back a bit!
