It’s Tuesday again, and you know what that means! Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Check out all my past TTT posts here. Some highlights:
- December 1: Books I Want to Read Again
- December 8: Top Ten Wintry Reads
- December 29: Favorite Books of 2020
- January 5: Most anticipated releases for the first half of 2021

I’ve been thinking hard about this topic because I don’t usually make resolutions.
- Read 200 books again in 2021
It’s easy to start with my reading goal for 2021. I read 200 books in 2020, which far surpassed my original goal. Therefore I want to hit the same goal again this year (or surpass it if I can!) It’ll be a challenge this year if quarantine ends and I’m able to go back to some of my hobbies I had to quit during the lockdown.
- Post reviews within 2 days of finishing the book
I used to be good about posting reviews right away, but as I was rushing to finish 200 books at the end of 2020 I totally fell off the wagon on my reviews. I plan to catch up and not let myself fall behind again!
- Post more book lists/bookish posts that aren’t reviews
As I worked to grow and populate my blog, I mostly posted book reviews. Now that I have some content, I’m going to try to broaden my range a little bit. Suggestions welcome!
- Non-bookish goal: organization
I used to be really into bullet journaling and therefore very organized. I’m feeling pretty scattered as this year kicks off, both in work and in my personal hobbies. With that in mind, I need to figure out a way to be a bit more organized and maybe not feel so far behind all the time.
- Non-bookish goal: fitness
My boyfriend and I always give up candy/desserts and alcohol for the month of January to kind of recover from holiday eating. We always work out pretty regularly, but general attention to fitness is always something I can improve on. We just bought a stationary bike for our house, so now I can read while I “exercise”.
- Non-bookish goal: cleanliness!
This is more of a goal for Pat… just kidding. I need to be more intentional about putting things away in their proper place right when I’m done using them…including my props for when I take Bookstagram pictures.
That’s all I’ve got. Maybe some of your posts will spark some inspiration for other ways I can improve!
Good luck with your goals! I’ve been posting reviews online since ’07, and organization is a constant chore. More books more problems! XD
no kidding! it’s so hard to keep up since I just want to start the next book. but then I forget what happened!
Wow, 200 books sounds like a remarkable goal! I feel like I always want to post more bookish lists and things, too, but sometimes coming up with topics is hard. That’s why I love participating in TTT. xD Good luck with your 2021 goals!
Here’s my TTT post.
200 books read has been my yearly goal for awhile now. I’ve never actually reached it, although I got to 191 in 2020. We’ll see how I do in 2021. Good luck to both of us!
Happy TTT!

Ah, so close! that’s so frustrating. you’ve got it for 2021!
I try to write my reviews as soon as I can after finishing a book. Right away, if I’m able. Good luck with all your goals! I hope you can stop by:

I like to post non- review posts too, although my reviews were down in 2020 so much I might need to concentrate on those a bit more lol. These are all great goals- good luck with these! Love those purple spines all lined up! 🙂
Yeahhhh I’m still trying to catch up on reviews from December too
