#BacklistBooks25 Challenge

Every year, I take part in a clear-your-shelves backlist book challenge on Instagram. The goal is to read 25 books off my backlist (ie, published before 2025) by the end of the year. I wasn’t able to complete the challenge last year, so follow along to see if I’m able to this year!

I’m doing things a little differently this year. I have a bunch of VERY old books languishing on my Netgalley shelf that need to be read, so my first goal is to read and review these 12 oldest ones. My physical unread backlist isn’t actually all that bad. I’ve carried over four books from last year’s challenge that I didn’t get to and added a few acquired in 2024. Hopefully I finish this year!

Here’s my entry post and the books I plan to read:

There are some side challenges and bonus books that I’ll also keep track of along the way.
