I don’t know about you, but I LOVE watching screen adaptations of books I’ve enjoyed. It gives me another chance to connect with characters I loved, and it lets me see them through the author’s eyes. Sometimes it’s just as I pictured it, and sometimes it’s nothing like my imagination.
Read on for 8 book-to-screen adaptations coming this year that I can’t wait for. Make sure to read these books ASAP so you’re prepared!

Anatomy Of A Scandal is a six-part series based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Sarah Vaughan and tells the story of a scandal among the British privileged elite and the women caught up in its wake. It’ll be here in September!

What are you looking forward to watching this year? Are there any that I missed?
Hmm Behind Her eyes sounds good, looks like a thriller? I’ll have to take a look.
I’m curious about The woman in the Window. I mostly liked it, although i know there were some controversy issues with the author a while back. Trying to remember the details offhand…
I’m a huge Liane Moriarty fan so Nine Perfect strangers appeals to me, haven’t read it though yet…
Yeah, Behind Her Eyes was a thriller. Not your typical thriller though, but I don’t want to spoil it!
I didn’t know there was controversy about AJ Finn, I’ll have to look it up. Thank you!
I think I would enjoy Behind Her Eyes more than I did the book. You have so many good ones on your list which I didn’t realize were becoming series or movies, thanks for this. Interesting I couldn’t get into You, the book or the series.
I’m glad you’ve found something new!! I watched You before I read the book (which I rarely do), I honestly don’t know if I would have liked the book if I read it first. It definitely can be a little over-the-top weird.
