TTT | Ten Most Recent Additions To My Book Collection

Top Ten Tuesday was created by
The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Check out all my past TTT posts here. Some highlights:

top ten tuesday

I’m going to be moving in May this year, so I’m trying my best not to buy any books (other than Book Of The Month) until after the move. I did break my book-buying ban once already this year, but to be fair I used a gift card! If I stick to my goal, though, all of my new additions between now and May will be gifted. I also badly need to purge the books I do have, but that’s a different story!

  1. Dial A For Aunties – purchased this weekend with a gift card
  2. Love And Other Disasters – this month’s BOTM pick
  3. Real Easy – ARC gifted by Henry Holt
  4. The Marvelous Monroe Girls – gifted by Forever/GCP
  5. The Darkest Place – a Goodreads giveaway win
  6. Do You Follow? ARC – a LibraryThing giveaway win
  7. The Deepest of Secrets ARC – gifted by Minotaur Books
  8. Bright Burning Things – finished copy provided by Harper Via for a book tour
  9. No Ordinary Christmas – gifted by Forever/GCP
  10. A Little Hope – a Goodreads giveaway win

I’m so grateful to these publishers for their generosity. I know how lucky I am, and certainly make a point to pay it forward to the same publishers and authors.

Do you read ARCs?

We're trying to grow our mailing list. If you join us and stick around, you will automatically be entered into two giveaways as a token of our thanks. And that's just the start!

  1. I’m in the same boat, although we won’t be moving until summertime. I own THOUSANDS of books already, so I’m trying REALLY hard not to accumulate too many more since I’m going to have to go through them all soon and purge, purge, purge. Good luck with your move!

    Happy TTT!

    1. Oh wow, good luck to you too! I’ve been slowly sorting stacks that I’m willing to part with, but also never want to say no to free books lol. It’s going to be quite the experience moving my library!

  2. Free books are the best books. Also the most dangerous, because I think they cast some sort of brain-trickery spell at the moment of acquisition that makes you think they take up less space than a normal book, so you can easily get 3x as many.

    But mostly the best. 😀
