It’s been a long time since I last participated in a TTT! Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s theme is “ten unread books on my shelves that I want to read soon”. I’ve been participating in an Instagram challenge for this very thing: over there it’s called a “24 backlist books in 2024” challenge, and I’ve been reasonably productive so far. I’ve read seven of the 24 books. Last year, I really kicked it into high gear after October, when I’ve finished most of my ARCs for the year and have time to read some backlist titles. All of my titles for the challenge are shown in the Instagram post below, but here’s what I have left to read:

- I bought this one in 2021, I think?
- The Wife and the Widow
- I bought this at Powell’s in August 2021
- Razorblade Tears
- I think this was my free BOTY book for whichever year it was a finalist. If it wasn’t a finalist, I got it whatever month it was a BOTM
- The Secret Life of Albert Entwistle
- This one I got as a Goodreads giveaway around the time it came out in paperback
- Practice Makes Perfect
- I was gifted this one right at the end of 2023, so this hasn’t been on my shelf all that long!
- Pride, Prejudice, and other Flavors
- This one was also bought right at the end of 2023
- Love Interest
- Bought in October of 2023 when I went to Knoxville for a Bookstagram friend’s wedding!
- The Wife App
- This was gifted to me by the Simon and Schuster Book Club Favorites program around the time it published, and I guiltily haven’t gotten around to reading it yet.
- The Breakaway
- Same as above, oops
- The Girls
- This has probably been on my shelf the longest out of all the books on this list. I owned it before I started this blog and Bookstagramming!
- Are We There Yet?
- I bought this on Pango Books sometime in 2022 or 2023
- The Boys’ Club
- I think I was gifted this for a book tour and never read it. In my defense, I only had to post a feature for the book tour!
- Blood Will Tell
- Same as above
- Prom Mom
- Also same as above
- The Leftover Woman
- This was gifted to me by Harper’s Book Club Girl program at the end of 2023. It was one of their bonus books.
- Remarkably Bright Creatures
- I bought this at a library book sale in 2022
- The Last Flight
- I got this one through BOTM the month it came out. I loved her second book, so this is one I’m definitely looking forward to.

I just haven’t had a lot of time to read physical books lately. I still fly through audiobooks because I can listen while I work, but it takes me so much longer to get through a physical copy!
