Books with AAPI Representation

It’s Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage month, so I figured I’d share my roundup of reviews of books with AAPI representation. I encourage you to diversify your reading all year, but now is a great time to start!

Personally, I’m trying to read more books by Pacific Islander authors. As you’ll see below, the books in this list currently skew heavily towards the “Asian” part of AAPI.

Keep in mind that since I read mostly romance and thrillers, that’s what you’ll find here. I’m also way behind on reviewing what I’ve read. If you’re familiar with Looker Studio, you can use the slicers in this post to see all the AAPI books I’ve read by year! These lists below live-update, so as I add reviews for more AAPI books, you should see them here.

I’m working on fine-tuning this list more so that it’s easier to find what you’re looking for. For now, though it’s just all of the books with AAPI representation I’ve reviewed on this blog, in order of when I reviewed them. I hope you find something you love!
